PT-500 Heavy-lift hybrid VTOL cargo UAS

Conceptual blueprint for a platform that carries 500 kg over a 100 km radius for remote cargo, wildfire and public safety, disaster response and Northern logistics

PT-500 Heavy-lift hybrid VTOL cargo UAS

Introducing PT-500, a Canadian heavy-lift hybrid VTOL uncrewed aircraft system, centred on a 500 kg payload and a 100 km nominal loaded radius.

Why hybrid VTOL?
🔹 Vertical take-off and landing: no runway, operates from a clearing, a barge, a mine site or a community pad
🔹 Hybrid propulsion: range and endurance that battery-only systems can't deliver at this weight class, and better tolerance of Canadian cold
🔹 Uncrewed: lower cost per mission, no crew exposure on dangerous or repetitive flights

Where it fits:
📦 Northern and remote community resupply as ice-road seasons become shorter and less reliable
⛏️ Mining and exploration logistics: parts, fuel, samples, camp supply
🔥 Wildfire and emergency response: equipment, water and supplies to crews and cut-off communities
⚡ Utilities and infrastructure: line work, tower and pipeline support in rough terrain
🌊 Coastal, island and offshore resupply
🛡️ Arctic, defence and public-safety logistics supporting Canadian presence in the North

PT-500 is at the conceptual design stage, and we're now building the team and partnerships to take it forward.

We'd like to hear from:
• Investors interested in Canadian aerospace, dual-use and northern infrastructure
• Operators with real heavy-lift missions and pain points we should design around
• Engineers, regulators and research partners in the UAS ecosystem

If any of this resonates, comment or send us a message. We'd welcome the conversation.
